Bovay Engineers, Inc. has provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety and LEED design services for various education buildings ranging from k-12 and even higher educational institutions encompassing a number of different programs such as architecture and architectural technology, basic core curriculums, construction sciences, a Culture Center and a Center for Community Urban and Rural Extension Services (CURES Center), and even laboratory buildings. These buildings make up the core of these places of higher learning and provide for maximum flexibility for future use.

Bovay begins this process by investigating the adequacy of the existing master utility services and determine which, if any, are to be modified to serve the facility. Bovay then designs all utilities according to LEED requirements such as domestic water, storm sewer, sanitary sewers, thermal utilities, electrical service, telephone, computer data lines and natural gas. Bovay provides the building thermal utilities (chilled water and heating water), waste systems, natural gas, and domestic water in coordination with the campus central systems.
