Bovay engineers provided MEP coordination and electrical engineering design for this project.
Phase one of the project consolidated all of the operations of the principal carrier, Southwest Airlines, in a new 20-gate central concourse. The new central concourse will offer improved passenger amenities and services. In addition, the existing terminal will be expanded and renovated to provide Southwest Airline's passengers with improved access between the curbside and each gate.
Phase two of the project expanded the East terminal and adds a completely new East Concourse serving all the other carriers with 12 aircraft gates. It also adds four more gates to the central concourse for a total of 36 gates.
